Ye Ol Joke

Ye Ol Joke was my teams Global Game jam 2024 entry under the theme "Make Me laugh". Travel back in time to find the 4 most ancient joke books. Each joke book has a special ability, use these abilities to manoeuvre through the level, avoid enemies and bring the ancient joke books back to the future to make the people of the future laugh. This game jam was completed at Hypixel studios site for GGJ 2024.

My Roles:

  • Work within a team of 3 and designed initial concept, mechanics and core loop

  • Programmed and implemented the User Interface

  • Blocked out and designed Level

  • Asset placement of pick-ups and enemy AI
